Clutter Chat: Digital inspiration for the ‘new normal’

An update from our friends at Clutter Chat!

Sunny day for podcast recording Oct 2019

Last year we were delighted to feature Glasgow based peer support group Clutter Chat on our podcast. Their founder, Zem Moffat and group members Grant, Barbara and Fiona shared valuable insights and advice for those affected by clutter, or those trying to help someone who is. It a fascinating listen, so do check it out if you haven’t already.

We are currently loving the ‘Clutter Talk Live’ Youtube show hosted by Zem, featuring lively conversations with co-hosts – and fellow declutterers – Elaine McKinlay and Clara Moore! Listen to the first series on the Clutter Chat Youtube channel. It is hoped there will be a new series in the autumn, focussing on dealing with clutter throughout the ‘new normal’.  In the meantime, the presenters will be sharing some lovely Top Tip videos (such as the one below from Elaine) for anyone who needs a little help with clutter in their living space.

As you can imagine, a strange and unsettling time such as lockdown can create challenges for this those affected by clutter. In response, Clutter Chat have quickly adapted their work to ensure peer support throughout this period, training up a team of Zoom facilitators.

In the midst of this the group have also become established as a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated organisation) which will allow them to develop their activities and create exciting new opportunities….so watch this space!
