About

Mind Waves is a peer-led  Scottish charity that shares positive stories about mental health and wellbeing.

Our network of volunteer Community Correspondents shares stories, experiences and opinions about life with a mental health problems. We want the world to be full of real stories from people who understand what it’s like to live with a mental health problem.

Support for individuals

Our Community Correspondents have lived experience of mental health problems. We bring people together, online and (when we can) in real life to offer peer support through sharing stories.

We support people to gain skills to share those stories with the wider world, if and when they want to.

Support for organisations

We also provide consultancy for other organisations who want to use digital tools to tell their stories. Our expert team combines digital storytelling skills and an in-depth understanding of social issues, particularly around mental health.
