Talking about Recovery: peer-led networks in Glasgow

Our friends at the Scottish Recovery Network (SRN) and the Greater Glasgow Mental Health Network (MHNGG) want to establish resilient, sustainable and peer-led recovery networks across Glasgow and surrounding areas.

They need your help to do this. They’re holding a series of conversation cafe events for people who are interested in promoting good mental health, wellbeing and recovery.

The events will look at these questions:

  • What does recovery mean to you?
  • What helps you maintain good mental health?
  • What helps you in your recovery journey?
  • What support do you need to help you to recover and live a good life?

There are events across the city:

  • North West Glasgow
    Friday, 10th November, 10.30am – 3pm Maryhill Burgh Halls, 24 Gairbraid Ave, Glasgow, G20 8YE
  • North East Glasgow
    Tuesday 14th November, 10.30am – 3pm Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre, 13 Whitevale St, Glasgow G31 1QW

South Glasgow
Tuesday 21st November, 10.30am – 3pm Pearce Institute, 840-860 Govan Rd, Glasgow, G51 3UU

These events are open to anyone who lives or works in the Greater Glasgow Health Board area not just in the City of Glasgow. Join them at one of the events if you have an interest in promoting good mental health and wellbeing or personal experience of recovering from mental health problems.
A free lunch will be provided at these events and reasonable traveling expenses will be reimbursed on production of a valid receipt. To register an interest in attending one of these events please contact:
