This month for our Community Correspondent meeting we got out of the office and headed to Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art.
We had a a tour of the galleries and saw some great art. Of course, there’s never a lack of opinions when the Mind Waves Community Correspondents are around, so there was also a fair amount of debate about what was great art and what just looked like the place needed a good tidy up. Our tour, the lovely Caroline Austin, learned what a good laugh we all have when we get together.
The next treat was a hands-on session making clay self-portraits in the workshop. Caroline gave us a demonstration and made it look easy. Of course, the reality was it was a bit more tricky, but we all really enjoyed working with the clay and everyone had a different interpretation. We’re pretty please with what we created.
