Our Top 5 COPE Scotland Resources!

If you follow Mind Waves, you’ll already know that we are big fans of COPE Scotland!

They work with hope, boundless energy and a belief that people know what they need to thrive in their own lives (and can do so with the right tools and support!). As well as supporting local people’s mental health through direct work in North West Glasgow, they offer a whole range of resources that everyone can access. They have continued to deliver a valuable range of online content and partnerships to help us all throughout this period of lockdown. Check out our top 5 pick of COPE Scotland tools and opportunities you can benefit from!

  • COPE are currently hosting weekly art sessions with the amazing Mind and Draw. These are open to everyone whether you have experience of drawing or not, and can help us feel relaxed and inspired! Find out all the joining details here.
  • An excellent Self Confidence and Personal Leadership toolkit. It is particularly aimed at coping which the changes that lockdown has brought to our lives. This comes in the form of a downloadable booklet and lovely set of affirmation cards.
  • The regular newsletter Whits Happening! which is absolutely packed with information on health and wellbeing events and resources in Glasgow and beyond. View issue 6 here.

  • A whole range of guided self care practice and activities. We particularly love this one on making your own affirmation jar!
