Congratulations! Our resilience photo contest winners

What does resilience look like? Since we asked back in July, you’ve submitted some brilliant photographs that really got us thinking about what it means to be resilient.

It’s a very happy Friday afternoon task to announce  three clear winners from the shortlist. Thank you so much to everyone who entered, and massive congratulations to our winners:

Best image of resilience: The Ant by Denise Milligan
Best composition: Off the Rock by John Richardson
Best resilience message: Hidden Steps by Emily McCurrie

We’d also like to say a big thank you to our judging panel members:

  • Dr Pete Seaman of Glasgow Centre for Population Health
  • David Bradley, who is an artist and a Mind Waves Community Correspondent
  • Kieran Hamilton, photographer and drug and alcohol researcher

We’ll be profiling the winners in the next couple of weeks and we will be holding an exhibition in Glasgow. Watch this space for details.
