I recently discovered the Trash is for Tossers project and blog by American environmental activist Lauren Singer. Although her lifestyle seems quite extreme, she has so many inspiring and cost effective ideas for living more sustainably. I like that she is very humble about her lifestyle and shares friendly, accessible advice rather than being preachy or judgemental. Watch this short film to find out how Lauren managed to reduce her household waste over two years, to the extent that the contents fitted into a single mason jar!
