Reasons to be mindful #mindfulness

A few years ago, most people would have looked at you blankly if you’d mentioned mindfulness.

The idea of meditation was associated with hippies and eastern religion, but in recent times it has entered the Scottish mainstream.

Many people now talk about it as a simple and practical way of improving mental wellbeing- and more. Even the World Economic Forum at Davos included a mindfulness session this year.  And you can find mindfulness classes closer to home, with Lifelink and Cope (among others) offering free courses in Glasgow.

We worked with people who have completed Lifelink’s Introduction to Mindfulness course to create this fun video about how mindfulness helped them.
