What have you learned from blogging? Tops tips from our Community Correspondents

We were invited to deliver a workshop on blogging at Glasgow Women’s Library @GWLkettle this week.

The session went really well. It was great to meet everyone and hear their ideas. We might even see some of them pop up as Community Correspondents.

Rather than get bogged down in the technical stuff, I asked our existing Community Correspondents what they’ve learned in their first six months of blogging about wellbeing. Here’s their crowd-sourced ideas, complete with links to examples of their blogs.

What would you add? What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from or about blogging?

I have learned from Rosie and other community correspondents that I’ve met along the way how easy it is to make your voice heard through social media. It’s shown me the difference in positive and negative reporting and how best to put my views across. Since I was made aware of Mind Waves so much seems to be happening with more people coming on board every day. Loving the workshops and reading all about the work that Mind Waves/Rosie does.
