Scottish Recovery Network opens booking for two online events!

Hi everybody!

Coming to you this week to draw your attention to two online discussion events that are being held by the Scottish Recovery Network. The Scottish Recovery Network is a valued partner of Mind Waves that seek to build a mental health system powered by lived experience and work towards making Scotland a place where people with mental health problems are supported at every stage of their journey.

They have just opened booking for the event What makes engagement meaningful? This will consist of an online discussion and sharing event exploring what makes engagement with people with lived experience important. The event will run on the 28th October and 5th November (same event on both dates) and you can click here to find out how to book a space.

The second event is Peer Group Facilitation: Sharing the power! This event will explore what peer facilitators can do to ensure that peer support groups are a great experience for all. Click here to find out how to book a space.

Both events are completely free!

If you want to read more, the link to their full newsletter is available here. I would also recommend keeping your eyes peeled for the launch of the SRN’s new animation ‘What is a recovery conversation cafe?’

Have a great weekend and make sure you follow the Scottish Recovery Network on Twitter @ScotRecoveryNet for updates.
