Free photography course in Glasgow for anyone with personal experience of homelessness or housing issues #homeandwellbeing

Today on the blog we’re sharing information on an exciting opportunity delivered by Open Aye CIC for Shelter Scotland.

The organisations are running a FREE photography course for anyone with personal experience of homelessness or housing issues.

There will be 6 workshops in total, each running from 11am-3pm. The course will begin on 10th September and takes place in central Glasgow.

Don’t worry if you don’t have any photography equipment as cameras will be provided.

Throughout the sessions participants will be supported to create images and words which:

  • Help show what things are really like
  • Highlight what needs to change
  • Show what could be done to fight the homelessness and housing crisis

A previous participant said, “I would recommend this course to anyone who likes photography, wants to make new friends, build their confidence and make a change.”

Places are limited to 10, so email timeforchange_glasgow@shelter.org.uk to register your interest as soon as possible.

Good luck to everyone taking part!
