Drawing for Wellbeing: Mind Waves and Mind and Draw workshop this Friday 29th May!

Mind Waves has teamed up with Mind & Draw to bring you an informal drawing workshop to support your wellbeing during lockdown. Join us this Friday 29th May from 2-3pm!

Drawing can be a helpful way to manage your mental health and express yourself, especially during lockdown. But it can be hard to get started.

This workshop is a chance to try some fun, relaxed exercises to get you started with expressing yourself and calming yourself through drawing. It will be run by Garry from our partner organisation Mind & Draw.

Mind Waves is a community of people who have something to say about mental health and wellbeing. We share stories, experiences and opinions to improve our own mental health and to reduce stigma over mental ill health.

You don’t need to have any experience of drawing. All you’ll need for the session is:

    Coloured pens or pencils
    Paper or sketchbook
    Object to draw to

We’re running the event on zoom. Once you sign up, we’ll send you the link for the workshop as well as a password.

To book your space just fill out the simple registration on our Eventbrite page. We hope you’ll join us!
